Word 98 for Mac, Word Work Files

Apparently my product is obsolete and Microsoft will no
longer answer any questions. Their support site doesn't
help either. Does anyone have experience with the error
message "Unable to create a Word Work File"?

Any help would be appreciated.

Try asking in a Mac-specific group such as microsoft.public.mac.office.word.
