Word 2007 How to put a short cut on the quick access toolbar

In Word 2007 I need help in how to put a short cut to a file on the quick
access toolbar. Thank you for any assistance here

I don't think you can do that (short of writing a macro to open the
file, and putting a button for the macro on the QAT). However, when
you open the document, it goes into the recently-used list on the
Office button's menu. You can click the pushpin icon next to it so it
will stay in the list until you unpin it.
