I am the only user here using Office 2003 Professional Edition. I do not seem to have the converters needed to save files in Wordperfect format. I have reinstalled twice and installed every additional option. It does not seem to be available.

Did this feature go away. It is in Office XP.

Hi =?Utf-8?B?TWFyaw==?=,

You're probably familiar with all the virus problems and such out there in
the world? They've hit Microsoft products especially hard (because more
people use them, for one thing, but also because they've been targeted due
to high visibility). This has triggered a "Security" priority at
Microsoft, and the reaction has been to try to block any and everything
that could provide "nasties" a way into your system.

The file converters that were not written by Microsoft have fallen victim
to this. Since Microsoft didn't write them, it doesn't have the source
code, and therefore can't sign the source code. So it can't guarantee
they're "safe", and therefore can't distribute them.

The best strategy, the way things look currently, is to make install the
earlier version, install Office 2003, then remove any older components you
don't want (don't let Office 2003 setup do it!), leaving things like
converters and languages packs.
