When you put the numbers in where? If you mean typed numbers change to #
characters, check whether some wag has added autocorrect entries to change
numbers to #.

Err that only applies to Excel.....Word should just wrap the number because
Word does not recognise numbers unless they are in a formatted table
cell...AFAIK.....
