Word Word 2003 document properties

I have a user who has recently migrated from NT (Word 97) to XP (Word 2003). They have some 800+ documents that were setup to print page one to tray on and the rest of the pages to tray 2. Since migrating all the documents no longer have these properties. I have installed the same network printer on the XP box as the NT one. Anyone know how to resolve the problem without loading all 800 documents into word one at a time ?.
