In Word 2003 I opened a letter I had typed a few years ago and noticed that
the date on it had changed to today's date. I opened a few other letters
and the same thing happened yet on the fourth letter it did not change to
date and it did indeed show the date that I had originally typed in. Why
would that happed? Would this be due to how the date was entered in the
first place? Either by the "Insert Date" from the menu or by just typing it
in? Is there a setting somewhere that cause it to update the date? I would
like for it not to automatically update and leave the date alone as
originally entered.
TIA
