I have 25 documents I need to to create one master document. I am having
problems on the insertion of each of these documents in the correct position
of the master document. I am sure it is somethng I am overlooking.
Do I need to create a style sheet since each page is formated the same. I
would also like to be able to change the font size on each of the documents
within the master document.

These pages (documents) are index pages with information in the header and
footer and nothing in the body of the document and printed on different
colored paper.

Thanks

"Master Document" is a term of art in Word referring to a "feature" that not
only doesn't work but also destroys documents. The consensus (with the
limited exception of Steve Hudson) among those offering advice on these
newsgroups is that using the Master Document feature is a sure way to
destroy your document. It can destroy parts of your document that you are
not even working on! I think John McGhie said it succinctly when he said
that there are two kinds of Master Documents: Those that are corrupt and
those that will be corrupt soon. See <URL:
http://www.addbalance.com/word/masterdocuments.htm> for information on the
Master Document feature and workarounds. (This page also has a link to Steve
Hudson's chapter on how he gets Master Documents to work.) See <URL:
http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/General/WhyMasterDocsCorrupt.htm> for more
information on what goes wrong, and <URL:
http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/General/RecoverMasterDocs.htm> for ideas on
how to salvage what you can.

You may not be talking about this kind of master document but rather one
that contains all of the information from other documents. You can copy and
paste or use IncludeText fields to incorporate the contents of other
documents. You may want to look at
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/WorkWithSections.htm for tips on how to
maintain formatting when you do this. What you want is for text that serves
the same purpose in your different documents to have the same style used for
formatting. http://addbalance.com/usersguide/styles.htm.

Hope this is of help.
