I was wondering how to stop MS word from acting like a web browser. What I mean is that every document I open gets opened in it's own window. I think this is causing me memory issues (computer) and a few anger issues (me). Is there any way to get this program to go back to acting the way word use to and open all docs in the same window for lack of a better term?

How do I know this add-on wont destroy my all ready fragile world? This is a coprate machine so I need to know exactly what I am installing.

I do not recommend the add-in. I recommend that you get used to the SDI
interface, which actually is much easier to use in some ways. Or you can
upgrade to Word 2002, in which you have the option to choose a more MDI-like
behavior. In Windows XP, I'm told, the whole rationale behind SDI becomes
apparent.
