Word 2000 on Windows XP

Just bought a new computer, which came with Windows XP.
I have the discs containing Word 2000, as part of Works
Suite 2000, from my old computer. Since I want to get
Word on the new computer, how do I do that? Do I need to
load Works Suite 2000 and then Word or am I way off?

Word is just a part of the Works Suite. Just install the
product from the media (Works) cd and you will be off and
running. Piece of cake.

You are correct.

I have Word2000 on my XP through Works Suite, too.
