I have one machine (98SE) running Word 2000, and when I
try to enter a math equation using Equation 3.0, the
characters are all cramped together, practically on top of
each other. This is the only machine on which this
happens. I've tried reinstalling Windows as well as
Office. Same result. Doesn't matter which font is used
(Times New Roman, generally). I've checked the spacing,
and it is using the default settings, the same as the
other machines which display things just fine.
Has anyone heard of this situation, who might be able to
shed some light on what I might be able to try to resolve
it? Any suggestions are very greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
