Word 2000 e-mail

I can't send attachments thru word. When I click on File send attachments as
recipiant it comes back with an error message. How do I set up my e-mail?

The server reported an internal error. Account: 'http://www.bellsouth.net',

'Server Error', Port: 0, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC3D
