I was walking past this place as dusk fell today, about 3.50pm. We are at about that time of the shortest day of the year, truly a miserable time if you let it be, my initial reaction is to hibernate ;)

I had my camera with me, so rattled off a few snaps.

This is one of the most run down areas of London though to be fair the powers that be are doing their best to rejuvenate it. maybe these snaps capture the poorness of the area, maybe they just show the sun going down.

Whatever, a typical SE London street scene really, albeit one close to the river Thames.

Those are great pics Flops, the sunset makes the area look more characterful than run-down - what a beautiful sky I think the foggy scenes are really good. They remind me of settings from one of those Hammer Horror movies (particularly the bottom two.) :nod: :D
 
Gotta like those pics Flopp's..Especially the first 2 with the trees..

They almost look like natures own fireworks, like rockets and streamers zinging off into all directions...:thumb:
