won't show movie clips or sound clips in the gallery

Power Point is installed but when we try to insert a movie
clip or sound clip from the gallery, is says there are
none available. The only one that shows up is the button
one. How do I have the movie and sound clips show up?
 
Let's start with the basics. What version of PowerPoint are you using and
what Operating System is installed?
