Won't Scan

After installing, and selecting scan now, the page remains
blank and the scan is not initialized. Browser change
threat blocks pop up about 4-5 times explaining that it is
Blocking a known URL hijack threat. The URL Being blocked
is the same as the URL trying to change so I can only
assume that the attack is active. I started in Safe Mode
and the scan still fails to run.
 
Try restoring your browser settings by going to Advance Tools > Browser
Hijack > Click "Check All" and choose restore.

Disable system restore, restart the computer in safe mode and scan again
using the Scan Options on the Scan Page, choose Fully System about 2 times.

Ron - I agree with Andre, I think, that this issue may be due to a
concurrent spyware infection. Have you also scanned this machine with a
good antivirus application with current definitions?

Another possibility is that your install of Microsoft Antispyware isn't
complete. Are you logged on as an administrator on this machine? As an
administrator, try removing and reinstalling Microsoft Antispyware, to see
whether a second installation attempt will yield an install that can scan!
