I have all the latest updates but IE 6 will not save
passwords on sites even after I check the remember
password box, for example Ebay. I have seen a number of
posts but no answers to fix. Thanks in advance

Good luck. I've run into the same problem, and like you,
I've been running into a lot of dead ends!!!
Disregard this crap about reinstalling I.E. 6.0.
It's a B.S. solution that won't solve the problem.
And it pees me when users like Warren seem to jump at this
solution like it is some kind of cure-all.
It isn't!!!

Yea I too am fed up with "supports" end all to fix all
problems by just saying uninstall reinstall. Thanks for
the verification on the ongoing problem.

What Operating System?

For Windows 2000 and XP:
----------------------------

First, make sure that "Protected Storage" service is running. Click Start / Run / Services.msc. If it is already ON, try this:
