Whenever I see a link for a .pdf file I want to view (well
any file I think) I will click on it. Nothing happens. It
should download and display within my browser. I have
reset security to medium level and even tried it on low
level.

Anybody know why it would do this and what setting I need
for it to happen? Thanks.

What version of Acrobat Reader do you have?

PDF BLANK See this article for possible help:

This issue is usually fixed by updating to the latest Acrobat Reader:
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html - latest is 6.0.

If no joy, see this article from Adobe:
PDF Pages Are Blank Inside Web Browser Window

or
Configuring Internet Explorer and AOL for Windows to Display PDF Files

Also make sure the "Web integration" options are checked:
Close Internet Explorer.
Click Start, click Programs, and open Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Click Edit, click Preferences, and then click Options.
