Thanks in advance if anyone has a clue... Until yesterday I was able to
click on my IE icon and open 3 or 4 or 5... different ie sessions with my
stock page on one, another site on another... now when I open one session of
ie and go to a page I want to keep seperate - then try to open another
session of ie it opens in place of the previous session - so I cant have more
then one session open at a time - this really stinks and I have no clue
what's changed. I am running windows xp pro and am the administrator on this
computer - any clues?

Hi Earl :-)

Try the following and see if it helps:

From IE> Tools> Internet Options> Advanced> Browsing> UNcheck "Reuse windows
for launching shortcuts."

If you have a toolbar or program running that blocks pop-up windows, such as
Yahoo Companion, Google toolbar, MSN toolbar, etc., disable them, Yahoo
Companion is known to cause various problems and should be uninstalled.

Hope this helps.

Hi "I am having the same problem" :-)

'k....if you have the same problem...have you tried the same suggestions I
provided for the OP? If so, did they work? If not, then please start a
new thread, give us the version of Windows you are using, exact wording of
error messages, if any, and the details of your particular problem, and we
will do our best to help. :-)

Hope this helps.

If it''s worth the effort, makes sense or beyond your control - let
change
be.

I had the same problem with my IE. As Jan Il said, the main responsible for
that was MSN Toolbar. Now I'm able to open how many windows IE I want to
open, without any problem.
