I recently started having a problem where photos and/or
links from certain sites won't load. I'm on Windows 98.
I've downloaded the latest versions of DirectX and Flash,
and have also downloaded the latest script patches from
the Microsoft page. Some sites I can see fine (i.e.,
msn.com) but others are completely jumbled (espn.com,
cnn.com) and are full of white boxes with that damned
red 'x'. I'm having the same problem with the latest Yahoo
browser. Anybody have a clue?

Hi there. Sorry, no answer to your question, but I'm
having the same problems. I have Windows XP though. Some
sites are not displaying pictures and I know that some are
not displaying links. For example: when I go to the
pneprizehome.ca, then click on "order tickets", beside the
box that says "order on-line" is supposed to be a linke
saying "order now" or something. It's there on my
computer at work, but not at home. I've tried to
troubleshoot and I think I've clicked on the appropriate
boxes in the display area and I think I've allowed
Zonealarm and Norton to access it, but to no avail. I
just can't figure this one out. That's not saying much
though as I'm definitely no expert. Did you get an answer
to your question? Can anyone out there help?

I was having the same problem right after I switched to
SBC Yahoo DSL. Yahoo told me that they are incompatable
with IE6 and that's why I wasn't getting the images. It
really sucks but they were only able to tell me to
downgrade.
