Wont list MMX

Hello,

I am having trouble setting up a AIW 9000 PRO. When I run the system check,
it won't detect MMX. I have a Athlon XP 1700 Processor with Windows XP.

Lots of people are getting this, Brad. It's just one more thing the ATi
configuration app gets wrong. Doesn't mean a thing, just like all the
previous failures to detect DMA, DirectX, ATi's own capture driver - you
name it. I'm sure that given half a chance it would detect that we don't
have video cards installed. Ignore it.

Except in my case the "scheduler" won't work, can't record off Guide Plus.
Just spent most of the day sorting it out and the only setup that comes
close to working is Cat 3.2 and MMC 8.1 with DVD 2.1.
Only clue as to why newer combos won't work is MMX not detected message. By
the way I also have Athlon XP.

I'm having the same problem. It wont detect MMX on my 1600+ (1.4 ghz) amd
athlon and therefore many of the still captures I wish to do, wont work.

Any patches or solutions out there for this ?

Capture works fine for me, Brad, and according to the configuration app _I_
don't have MMX - if you can't capture, there's another reason.

I've now found that some formats do and dont capture. So far mpg seems to
work but avi, divx doesnt...and maybe others..
The still capture is absolutely useless if i have to guess which format
every time i want to use it
