Won't Install

I have tried several time to intstall IE6, but for some reason the files won't install. On startup, the only thing running was explorer, nothing else. Can anyone give me a hint on what to do?

You already have IE6-SP1 installed, Max. Why are you trying to install it
again? What's your Windows version?
