My win XP home won't detect an audio cd.
When you put an audio cd into the drive it looks like it
detects a cd but it sees it as a data cd. when you open it
you get an error accessing the application.

If you open Windows media player and force it to look at
the drive windows will recognise it as an audio cd.. once
this occurs you can use the cd normally until you insert
another cd. then you have to do it all over again with
windows media player..

What do i have to change to make this work again..

THanks

Jon

Hey!! I posted the same complaint today 1-5-04. Have you
gotten an answer yet? My sisters ME machine does the same
thing but my ME doesn't. Maybe it's not the XP causing
the problem. All .wav files show up as .cda's and 44
bytes.
