Hi all,

I just got an eMachine that has XPH with SP2
on it. When I turn it on it stays on the bootup
screen that has the little scroll bar under the
Windows logo and doesn't get any farther. The
scroll bar continues to go across but that's all.
How do I fix this?

thanks,
charles.....

Has the machine ever worked or did it come like this out of the box?
Do you have any periferals plugged in that might be causing problems
(ipod, wireless mouse, BT, etc..)?

First press F8 constantly until a menu appears when your computer is booting
up and when menu appears select "Last Known good Configuration" see if it
works. If not do same steps but a difference select Safe mode instead of
"Last Known good Configuration". Let us know result.
