I created a document with appendices. The Appendix main heading was created using a lower lvl heading (has it's own style created) and the page numbers work fine. My problem comes from the lvl 2 heading. I would like it to be A.1; however, it is 5.1. I right click to set numbering value but it won't let me start a new list. It is grayed out with the Advance value box checked. If I try to lower the Set value lower than 5.1, it gives me an error and doesn't fix anything.
I attached a file of what the screen looks like when I try to set the numbering. I hope this isn't too confusing and thanks for any help.
