Been using onboard video on my Intel D865GBF mobo ok since it was built one
week ago. Installed an ATI radeon 9200 today and it gets to the point where
it just starts to load xp then it starts back to the beginning of post over
and over. Won't start in safe mode either. Goes into bios setup ok. Tried
another agp card with same results. There is no option to disable onboard in
bios. It's supposed to be automatic. Also uninstalled driver for onboard in
windows. Can't think of anything else to try. Whaddaya think. Bad agp slot?

Thanks, Jim

Are you sure there isn't a board jumper to disable the on board video?
Also what power supply do you have as these newer cards need a lot of
current.

No, that board does not have a jumper, for that. It's disabled,
automagically, when a card is put into the AGP slot.
