Brian

Does anyone know of a free wmv-vcd programme or know where I might find one.
All the ones I have looked at so far seem to be trial versions of paid for
sotware.

Thanks

"TMPGEnc converts *.AVI file to MPEG1, the format which is used in
VideoCD. Using variety of option in TMPGEnc, you can compress your video
file in high quality." [sic]

And your point is?

That the original poster asked for a WMV-to-VCD converter, but TMPGEnc
does AVI-to-VCD. I might be something, though; so if I am, let us know.

If you had done a bit of investigation, you would have known that TMPGenc
does more than that, including WMV/ASF to VCD. So I recommended it.
With a plug-in it also does MOV to VCD, by the way.

Indeed, it \was\ a bit of investigation that got me that information. I
figured their own description of the software would be a good enough
source. Thanks for clarifying.

Will it also convert ASF files?
