Hello,

I've created a small lettering movie in Windows Movie Maker, save it as an

REPLY= Anonymous,
Some "included" software that comes with a DVD drive
does not import .WMV or other file types. For instance,
MyDVD will not import .WMV files. You can buy software
that will do so for around $29.00. Or, try to find
freeware.
There is one other way I have used. I also had some
other piece of software that came with my burner. It is
like moviemaker, but it is different in that it lets you
burn to cd. What i did was import my entire moviemaker
file into that program as a "clip". Then, I simply used
the programs "convert to mpg/burn to dvd" feature. This
works but takes a long time to render the file.
I hope this helps you.

Hello there,

I think you will find that you are trying to import the wrong "type" of AVI
file. For a good selection of converters go to my web site and click on GREAT
LINKS > KNOWLEDGE BASE > VIDEO HELP. You will find all you need there, I am
sure.
