wmv can't play

I added a wmv file in my frontpage website. the file work in the preview of
frontpage however the wmv didn't work on any other computer.

the windows media player properties setting is below

file name or URL: HTTP://my computer name/my website directory /wmv file name

is the setting correct?

You must import the file into your current open FP web prior to link to it.

I had already imported WMV into my site through FP. but it still can't be
played.
I use port 8082 for my site, do I need to change the setting for port number
8082

is the properties setting of media player correct below ?

The path you indicated below is incorrect, it needs to be
http://www.domainname.com/foldername/file.wmv

I changed the path as you provided, it still didn't work. what do I need to
do to solve this problem?

No.
When using:
http://219.78.188.186:8082/company2/b.wmv
I get a page not found.

Suggest you move your site/domain to web hosting service
