wmp9 stopped working (you could be awarded)

I was enjoing windows media player for about 2 years its all okay
Untill I get windows media player9 i was happy with it at first i enjoid hearing the song go fast and slow
but 5 days after I got it. i clicked on windows media player icon And chose a song and then a error box appeare
And said unknown error it didnt say what error so I clicked web help something like that it said Error c00d11c
I followed instructions instructed to other people but it didnt work. Can anybody please Help me out you could be awarde
Cause I will do any thing to hear my 200 songs agai
P.S( I recommend nobody to get windows media player9 unless you want this to happen to you)
 
I would suggest doing a bit more reading before making a post like this
again. 0xc00d11cd is "unknown error". You provided 2% of the needed
information for anyone to be able to help you. I think you might want to
blame yourself for that. XP SP2 includes WMP 9, so start getting used to
it. :) Your statement was made without knowledge of the software and
without reading, I would suggest thinking twice next time, thus making
yourself look like less of a fool.

OK so he was a bit terse with his question and his reply....but lets just pretend I do not have a clue about setting up PC`s etc cos until I got WMP9 I thought I was not too bad. BUT now t takes an age to load up ANYTHING, mp3, CD, DVD and rather mysteriously I cannot now burn any CDs and just for good measure I cannot download all of my photo files to data CD cos I was wanting to trash my system and start again. OK there may be lots of problems there but they only started when I got wmp9. If someone could direct me to a site where I can get some answers without being made to feel like a mental peewee (I am just a lowly R&D chemist and USE computers, a LOT! But once it gets to DLL and stuff like that, I am lost) Any help would be of great value,

There maybe a windows update for mp9 for your problem. I have seen it, but
never installed it myself, as it wasn't a critical update and i don't use
mp9 execpt to play files.
