WMP10 & Windows 2000

Are WMP10 & Windows 2000 compatible or is in not advisable to run WMP10 on a
Windows 2000 system?
 
As far as I know, you cannot install WMP10 on Win2000. It just indicates you
have to install WinXP to continue the instalation of WMP10
 
Thanks for the reply. What is the most recent version of WMP that will run on
a Win 2000 system and where can I download it from?
