WMP Playback Delays

I have recently reformatted my pc. Ever since then WMP10 has taken 15+
seconds to load up ANY video.

It was instant before the reformat (if I remember correctly) if WMP was open.

I recently upgraded to WMP11Beta and am still having the same problem.

Hold on - I just noticed its doing the same with songs aswell!

PLEASE help me. Im a Media Buff and cant have these huge delays between each
song/while loading a video!

"upgraded" to a beta version?
To be involved in any Beta testing you need to know
exactly what you're doing and be an optimist.
Beta means it is unknown if bug fixes have worked etc.
You are doing unpaid testing of a product with unknown
consequences. Not a good idea.

How about a helpful post?

I do know what Im doing, you have no right to accuse me of being some idiot
who upgrades to a beta then complains about it not working right.

This problem applies to more than just WMP. It also seems to affect MSN, and
Windows itself (Log out sounds etc, all off time).

So, instead of trolling, either gimme a hand or back off.
