wmp or mp3 problem

I have just purchased a sony walkman mp3 player, and before i can sync to my wmp. The windows error report comes up

What version of WMP are you using?

Is this XP ?

Did the MP3 player install any software ?

i am using wmp 11
windows xp

try updating your windows media player codec. or you can convert the wmp file to mp3 file.
