WMP icons

Does anyone know how to remove WMP icons from desktop without deleting the
content. Desktop Cleanup does not seem to work with them. Thanks!
 
Are you asking about icons or shortcuts? There's a lot of difference.

They are icons. I downloaded some songs from eMusic and they automatically
went to my desktop until I noticed and corrected it.
