WMP 9 will no longer play full screen mode

My MP used to work prefectly but lately, when playing back
video, it will no longer play full screen mode, it's like
it tries to and fails?? The screen turns black for a few
seconds and then goes back to playing within the
application window.

Thanks in advance if anyone can help... :)
 
Try going into options, performance, advanced video
options, and turn off enable full screen video fix

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! I too was having the
same problem with not being able to play WMP9 in full
screen mode. Your fix worked like a charm! So great to
see my music videos back in Full Screen again. :-)
