I made a movie with widows movie maker and saved it to my computer. i then
went to nero and went to SVCD and clicked on the file, but it said that the
file(s) weren't compatible. what does this mean and how can i fix it?

I don't use Nero, but I assume that it does not accept WMV format.
If you have enough disk space you can save the movie in DV-AVI format for
burning....the files are huge but provide the best quality. When you do the
'save to my computer' to save your movie, you then name it and select where to
save it. At the next screen choose 'other settings' and in the drop down menu
you will find DV-AVI format as the choice that is not WMV format. Good luck.

load the .wma plug-in and it will accept .wmv files

The link won't open. I saved the file as DV-AVI but it still says that there
is "No compatible file found."

I had the same issue. It seemed like all Nero would accept is a .vob and a
couple other formats.

Any idea why this is the case? From all that I've read, it should accept it
in the .avi format.
