Since I started using WMM, I have had a number of issues, which to most of
you should not come as a surprise. There is certainly the issue of the fact
that it often freezes before (and sometimes during) the time I can save my
current project. However, I have had two much greater issues with this
program which I am hoping that I can obtain some help with.
First, I have added a number of WMV clips to my project, with transitions in
between each of the clips. The longest of these clips is five minutes and
twenty two seconds and the rest are much shorter. The project as a whole
lasts about twenty two minutes. Apart from each other, the clips play through
just fine. However, when I attempt to play them in my project, several of the
clips pause several seconds into the clip. I then have to again hit play for
the project to continue.
Secondly, when I attempt to save my project as a movie file, I get this
error message: "Windows Movie Maker cannot save the movie to the specified
location. Verify that the original source files used in your movie are still
available, that the saving location is still available, and that there is
enough free disk space available, and then try again."
I should also note that the version of Windows Movie Maker I am using is
version 5.1
