Hi,

First time here and second time this happened.

I use Movie Maker to edit vidoe and such, and this has happened and I can't
pay $50 to reinstall XP just for this:

Everytime when after I opened WMM, I select an audio/pic/video from
Collections and the preview window froze. Tried to select other items but
the preview window kept it at where I first chose. I looked everywhere to
find a solution, so here's what I tried:

Papajohn's Advice on the Site: DIDN'T WORK
Codec Changes: NOTHING FIXED
Reinstalling WMM: NO CHANGE
System Restoring: MY COMPUTER FAILED TO RESTORE
Eliminating Viruses, Spyware, Hijacks, and everything else threating: STILL
NOTHING

I've tried almost eveything and still got nothing to fix the problem. It may
be that I have to free virtual memory.

Anyways, I use an HP Pavillion 505n with 250MB ROM and 60GB HD. I need a
solution to this situation, ASAP. Thanx!

it's a strong indication that you need to
update your video driver.

I did Maintenance and changed Hardware Accelerations on my computer, but did
nothing to fix it. The thing was, it (WMM) was working like normal. What
started was that I couldn't hear sound, so I reinstalled my audio driver, but
in return I get what I told you in the beginning.

Sorry, I just thought it was worth a try.
