Ok. I am now wondering if the finished product i completed in WMM can be
recognized by any programs? These clips i compiled from the internet, and
made into a movie in WMM. What format are my WMM projects in? Are they wmv.
? How do i get my WMM finished product to be reocognized by the different
software i have been trying. Is what i am trying to do possible? Or am i
stuck forever with really great movie projects that i cant do anything with.
My projects are stored on my C: file. But when i go to retrieve them to try
and burn them. . .they are not detected by the software. Is it because of
the format they are in? Still learning!

keep learning.... you can move your finished product wherever you want to...
maybe needing a conversion to do it, but it'll be easy.. .when you know how.

you save your Movie Maker project file as a MSWMM one, something that can
only be used in Movie Maker...

from the project file you save your movie, either as a WMV or DV-AVI file...
which one to use depends on where you're heading with it.... WMV for your
computer viewing or distributing online... DV-AVI if you're heading to a
DVD.

OK papaJ. I did save my file to a DV/AVI file. . .hasnt been recoginized
yet. It is extremly huge at 14.8gbytes. It is 1hr 13 mins long. I also
broke this file down and saved it in 8 segments in high quality(large) to my
hard drive. Those dont show up on the software either. I was heading for a
dvd disc to be viewed on home players. From what i understand about the
software i am using, it seems to only recognize mpeg formats. It is roxio
easy creator 7 and 8. Can i change my 8 wmv video file segments to a mpeg?
If so, How? And why isnt the one 14.8 gig AVI video clip i saved, being
recognized as you stated, should be ready for DVD? I have downloaded some of
the older versions of dvdxcopy that seem to want to work, but hasnt
recognized the avi format. My roxio software is very problematic, freezes
up, and dont seem to recognize wmv or avi. I read that you need to have alot
of ram with some of these programs. I have about 253 MB of memory. Is that
enough?
