WMM crashes after i put so many clips/pics in project.

i have the updated windows movie maker, but when ever i add so many pics
(for a slidshow) or video clips (for video stuff) it will close itself
suddenly. i don't know whats wrong with it. i'v asked other ppl if there is a
limit of clips/pics you can have for a project butthey say no. so i need help
trying to figure out why it does that. i mean it's updated and all but closes
suddenly for no reason

Just some thoughts....

Could be a resource issue...installing
more RAM, increasing the size of your
paging file and or running Disk Cleanup,
Error Checking and Defrag may help.
Also, disabling your internet connection,
and closing all programs...especially
virus scanners before opening Movie
Maker may improve the issue.

Try creating smaller projects. Once you
have saved the completed projects in a
movie format...wmv or .avi...you may be
able to reimport them and join them into
one file. Or if you are creating a DVD
you might try importing them into your
authoring software as separate chapters.

And you may have some incompatibility
issues with your source files. Have a look

Thanks. it works great now. i guess it was the filters and al for my
different vidoe types.
 
scratch that. it's only working good for my pic/slideshow videos i make. i'll
mess around some more later. get back to u if it doesn't work in the next few
days.
 
yeah it didn't work. i can make it with out limits by turning off two
filters, but then i can import the videos i want so i can make stuff. it's
weird.
 
i got it now, i fixed the whole thing, no more limits. all i did was install
simarlir filters, the ones i had were broken.
