wmm was acting up, so i "end task"d it. when i reopened it, it asked if i
wanted to recover the files from a project i was working on when it stuck,
and i clicked yes. when it was opened, all of the clips on the timeline were
super-small, and now i cant trim any of the clips! the movie still plays
normally, but i cant edit it anymore; it won;t respond when i try. please
help, i wasnt even done with my movie!!!

well, i found out how: if this or something like this happens to you, then
go to "view", and click "zoom in". keep doing this until the clips are the
desired size.
