Lately I have come across a serious problem with maps
that have been created in CorelDRAW and exported as WMF
and these are inserted into PowerPoint.
Over time the map in PowerPoint seems to take longer to
refresh itself and upon investigation by ungrouping it
I've noticed that the map has duplicated itself ontop of
itself. So rather than having the 1 map which was
originally inserted, there can be as many as 50 maps
sometimes. So We would need to copy the map back into
CorelDRAW and ungroup it and simply select one of each
shape to make the map again and delete all the duplicated
shapes.
I hope this makes sense. I also hope someone can give me
some sort of answer as to why this is happening and what
can be done about it.
It causes big problems with file size and also when
printing cause the printer is recognising all those
layers and it takes ages to print.
Please e-mail me any information
Thank you
