WMDC - Synchronise with windows mail

Hi,

I have just buy a new PC with Vista.
When I want to synchronize the datas inside my Ipaq with my computer, WMDC
don't want to synchronize with Windows Mail : WMDC write that Outlook is not
installed.
My question : I have read that Windows Mail take the place of Outlook. Not
for synchronize with mobile ?

Windows Mail replaced Outlook *Express*, not Outlook (from Microsoft
Office).
Outlook Express was never able to be used to sync with a mobile device, only
Outlook.
The situation has not changed, only the name.

OK, thank you for your help.
But why it's not possible to synchronize with Windows mail, we have the same
utilities inside.
I find that it's a mistake ....
