1. (How) Can Powerpoint 2007 (come to) play wmapro (surround) files? (It does
now, but sends all streams to every channel instead of playing one stream per
channel)

2. In Powerpoint 2003 there is the perfect possibility to insert a Media
Player object (This way wmapro-files are played properly). But in Powerpoint
2007 this insert-function is gone! How can i get it back there?

I don't think you can tell PPT to play a specific file as a surround sound
file, but I would love it if Austin found a way to do it.

But, for your second point, check out the Insert tab's Object button. Make
sure the radio button for create from file is selected and then browse to
the file. It should work just like any other object.

Hi Kathy,

Yes direct proper wmapro-handling would be a great thing.

Thanks for your reply. Inserting a file is not working properly for me. It
is OK for an audiofile with waveformat. But for MP3 or WMA it doesn't work. A
box with the filename shows up, that's all. When i make it a hyperlink, it
works, (only when clicked on) but with two unwanted effects: the Mediaplayer
appears visible in the screen and practically stops my slidesshow powerpoint.
