I am using the latest Pwr Pnt and want to include some .wma sound files.
According to what I read on the "Help" that format is suported by PWR PNT.
These songs play just fine on my Windows Media Player. According to what I
read on "help" I may need a different codex. I only know what I read so any
help or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

What is the source of the wma files? I ask as they may contain DRM (Digital
Rights Management) and if so they can not be used in PPT.

Yup, that created a file with DRM and can not be used in PPT. You need to
use another "ripper" to create a DRM free file.

That makes sense I guess. Any suggestions for a ripper that will allow me to
use the files in the future? Also, are a .wma files unuseable?

You bet, wma files without the DRM will work fine.
