Newly built Dell 600m; W2K (completely updated - 10/9/04 -
OS, drivers and applications). Turning off un-
necessary "services" and found a "WLTRYSVC" service;
running and set to automatic. No explanation (that I've
found on google or MS's KB) as to, exactly, what this
service is ? - or does ?? - or is supposed to do ???

Anyone have an answer ???

Regards,
TomP

I did a quick search of Google and found the reference in the link below
that says it is from Belkin for a wireless network adapter. If you use
msinfo32 and look under software environment/running tasks it will show you
the path to that executable which can be helpful in identifying it. Also
check add/remove programs to see if anything related may be shown there. If
you don't have any Belkin adapter nor ever had any on your computer I would
be sure to do full Virus scan on it with updated definitions. --- Steve
