Hi All,
I have 2 windows 2000 adv. servers using wlbs for web.
I was wondering if there was a way to tell how many users
were connected to each server and who those users were.
Also is there a way to make certain users to always hit
one of the servers ie our developers. I have also heard
that once you make a connection to one of the wlbs
servers you will always hit that server somthing like the
servers cache you user id or your ip and always send you
to the same machine. If this is true can you clear that
information.

Sorry for the muli question

Thanks in advance

In the port rules tab of the Cluster Nic NLB properties, there are 3 option buttons. If youa re using "Single" affinity then a session that start son one server will always stay on that server until the machine actually goes down. If you use "None" affinity then a session can jump to adifferent server as the user moves through the site.
I usually set up a seperate site on each server with a seperate ip address in IIS, but it still points to the same physical directory as the production site. This is a good way to test each server to make sure your content is right....although IIS-wise, it will be different.
