wkimgsrv is a dll file in c:\program files\microsoft works. The
descirption says is for Microsoft works Image server. What does that
mean?? Is there a way I can find out just how important this file is
or what it truly does?
I have a conflict with it and windows defender and a backup software.
I renamed it on my own pc to test and haven't experienced any problems
(that I'm aware of), but am wondering what the ramifications are.
Obviously, if I end up needing it through some application I'm in
trouble so I'd like to know where it's really used at and how to
assess the risk of renaming it permanently.
thanks,
ga
