With my cam on - picture of "opponent" gets dark..

Hello from Holland,
when i put on my webcam in messeneger, the picture of the webcam from the
person i am speaking with, gets darker after a few minutes
does anyone know how to solve this?

Greetings Henk,

Most cameras have built-in functionality to actually adjust for light, it could be this that
you're seeing.

Messenger itself doesn't, so I'm not really quite sure why you would be seeing this.

That cannot be the problem ... because the lightcircumstances don't change
by the other person...
As soon as i put on my cam, it takes a few minutes and then the picture of
the other person becomes darker and stays so.....
When the other person switches messenger off and on again it makes the
picture normal, but only for again a few minutes....
