I've read a few stories in here about how some things have gotten removed
unintentionally and people asking how to get them back. I'd like to see MS
take a page out of some of the other well known spyware removers and
automatically set things to quarantine instead of allowing some items to be
removed. I'd also like them to go one step further and allow a setting in
the options to auto delete any quarantined item that is 30 days old, and
turn that option on by default. It should be in the options though so
someone could turn the auto delete off if desired. This way, if non techies
run this and screw something up, the tech that follows can get into the
quarantine and restore, re-scan and remove properly. Just a thought, but I
think it would be a nice touch.
