Every anti adware/spyware program I have ever used picks
up DSO Exploit, but it always comes back after "removing"
it. Microsoft's AntiSpyware could be improved by
detecting and removing this bothersome DSO Exploit.

Only one freeware tool that I know detects DSO Exploit and that is a bug
in that particular program. There is no DSO Exploit if you have XP
up-to-date via Windows Update or Automatic Updates.

That bug has existed in Spybot S&D for at least a year. MS patched
that DSO Exploit even before that.

Although it's not a serious bug, it does cause concern and confusion
for new Spybot users. It really makes me wonder about the quality of
Spybot when little bugs like this persist for ages.

Spybot is the product of a very small operation. There's a publicly
available beta version which no longer has this bug--not sure how close it
is to release.
