I have 2 dell laptops that have the same drivers and the same wi fi cards.

I have tried to roll back, also to uninstall the drivers already, and update
the drivers with new copies from dell and also intels site.

The problem is, one of the laptops works great it has open, shared, wpa, and
wpa-psk under the wireless network options, while the other only has open and
shared so I have tried and it will not connect to WPA-psk networks.

Any ideas?

The hardware in both laptops are Intel(R) PRO/Wireless LAN 2100 3A.

Thanks

Are both laptops up to date with all the service pack/updates from
Microsoft? Microsoft released a network update to include
enhancements to WPA / WPA2 wireless protocols.
